Luxury At The US Open

The US Open is one of my favorite events because it’s a place where you’re not only going to watch tennis, but to be seen watching tennis. Tennis is one of the “high society” sports...kinda like golf or water polo. I believe the Open gives people an opportunity to bring the luxury they save for special occasions out into the open (pun intended).

As I walked through the gates, I couldn’t help but notice luxury on everyone. I saw a Ralph Lauren Polo Bear sweater on a woman in the food court. A Hermes bracelet on a woman catching her sneeze. A large Louis Vuitton traveler bag on the shoulder of someone wondering why I was standing so close for a photo. I spied a vintage Cartier watch on someone taking in volleys from an outside court. A Rolex Datejust, Tiffany rings, and more on someone standing in line for a Honey Deuce.

There was a cute Elle Milla Bee Mine bag, another from Anthropologie, and someone showing off their favorite summer purchase from STAUD. A classic purse from Chanel. Cross-bodies from Fendi, Louis Vuitton, and Bottega Veneta.

It was so much and so beautiful. Anyway, thanks for the photographs. Looking forward to another Open next year.
